Kur02 is the offical registered Call Sign for Channel 02 UHF CB Repeater at Kurragong Heights, & soon to be commissioned sister repeater with the new call sign VMH8 for Channel 48 will be located at Maroota, both issued by the Australian Communications & Media Authority (ACMA).

Repeater sites increase coverage for UHF CB users by re-transmitting them over a wider area. This repeater can increase the distance from up to 15kms (max) to all of Sydney metro and surrounding areas north & south.

UHF CB Repeaters are available to anyone in the general public. However it should not be used for commercial and or business purposes.

Kur02 (Channel 2) is located North West of Sydney in the Blue Mountains of New South Wales (NSW), which gives it good coverage of Sydney metro and surrounding areas.

The new sister repeater VMH8 (Channel 48) will be located at Maroota north of Sydney on the way to Wisemans Ferry, will have a 360 degree pattern over the surrounding area with good coverage south over the Hawkesbury Valley to the Blue Mountains.
